Ignacio Martínez-Arrieta Márquez de Prado
Ignacio has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2010. He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a degree in Spanish-French Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In 2011, he furthered his education by completing a Master’s in European Union Law with a specialisation in Competition Law at the Institut d’Études Européennes (ULB) in Brussels.
Upon joining the firm, he pursued a Master’s in Economic Criminal Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. Additionally, he holds the CESCOM Compliance certification and is a registered member of the Register of Expert Compliance Officers (ASCOM).
Before joining the firm, Ignacio worked as a legal advisor at the European Parliament and in the Economic Criminal Law department of a prestigious firm in Washington D.C. He is a speaker at various specialised courses in Criminal Law and is the author of several publications in the field of Economic Criminal Law.
